With LEGALCLOUD™ virtual desktops we took the complexity out of the equation by making the packages as robust as possible without the need for add-ons to get a whole desktop experience. Aside from desktops, firms will have servers and networking equipment that needs to be managed and patched. Those are specific to each client and their environment which we will consolidate and streamline as part of our onboarding.
A virtual desktop will provide a consistent experience as you access it from device regardless of the device’s capabilities. It reduced the costs associated with hardware as most minicomputers will provide a great gateway to the virtual desktops. It also provides the data security of the cloud if the device used to access the virtual desktop is lost of stolen. Many firms looking at complete technology spend over five years realize that virtual desktop benefits provided are greater than on premise. LEGALCLOUD™ may not be a perfect fit for everyone, an on-premise solution may be better for some firms such as our SimplicITy managed services offering.
