Scheduling Custom SSRS reports in ProLaw / SQL Express

Tuesday, June 18th, 2013

If you firm is running ProLaw XII you have an instance setup of SSRS that allows for extremely customizable reports either from your own datasource, or using the ProLaw database.  These SSRS reports support subscriptions so they can automatically be emailed to you as well.  If you are running SQL Express however, it does NOT support emailed reports.  A full version of SQL would need to be purchased.  If you are not sure what type of SQL licensing your firm has, when you try to subscribe to a report, it will tell you your version does not support this.   However, if you have ProLaw XII, there is a way around that!
