ProLaw dockets not syncing to Exchange for one or more users

A recent issue at a firm occurred when one user who entered dockets into ProLaw found that they were not syncing to Exchange.  It was only for this one user, and the groupware agent was running without error for other users as well.

If this is happening to a user on your network, check the following:

1 – Open the registry and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

2 – Create or verify a key exists called “Outlook.application”

3 – Create if it does not exist

4 – Test ProLaw docketing

This key should be created with Office installation or repair, but sometimes gets corrupt and causes this issue.
